Tidings of Comfort & Joy

Welcome to our 2022 festival of Advent Windows.
We are looking forward to a less restricted Christmas and I hope that you and your loved ones are able to enjoy precious time together.
At Christmas we celebrate God who was not constrained by any rules of social distancing, coming close to us in human form. For Christians the birth of Jesus proclaims that we are deeply valued and all of creation is filled with the divine life.
Thank you to the families, businesses and community groups, sharing your creativity across Greenwich again. A well-known carol speaks of the birth of Jesus bringing ‘tidings of comfort and joy’.
As we enjoy the celebrations, let’s look out for those we are tempted to overlook, the strangers in our community and those newly arrived or lonely this Christmas – sharing both comfort and joy.
