8th December – 213 Greenwich High Road, SE10 8NB. “Faith, Hope, Love & Peace” opening at 4pm.

2012 has been an unforgettable year. We’ve all seen examples of faith, hope and love. Looking ahead, we would like those actions to persist, along with the big one: Peace

9th December – Richard the First, 52-54 Royal Hill, SE10 8RT. “The vision of St Alfege” opening at 7pm.

The window depicts the vision which St Alfege had on the eve of his martyrdom, as described in Osbern’s Life of Alfege, when St Dunstan and a host of angels transformed his prison cell into a place of glory.

10th December – 34 Coltman House, Welland Street, SE10 8DW. “Tassels of glory” opening at 6pm.

11th December – 17 Point Hill, SE10 8QW. “Trumpets and Wings!” at 5pm.

The children of St Alfege Church Sunday school explore the theme of advent using their own words to express the joyful message that the angels bring against the traditional images of angel wings and trumpets,

12th December – 88 Ashburnham Grove, SE10 8UJ. “Do not be afraid” opening at 12noon.

Angels keep hope alive. They provide wisdom and guidance, protection and safety. Their message is ‘Do not be afraid, God’s love is stronger than your fea’

13th December – Studio 75, 75 Lassell Street, SE10 9PJ “Modern Masterpiece” at 630pm.

14th December – 15 Crane Street, SE10 9NP. “For those in peril on the sea”

A window with images showing mission to seafarers


6th December “Angels”

December 6, 2012

Opening at St Alfege with St Peter’s Primary School, Creek Road, SE10 9RB at 4pm.

A Singing Squad will be singing carols.  Money raised will go to Crisis for Christmas.


Opening at James Wolfe Primary School, Randall Place, SE10 9LA at 330pm

There will be carol singing outside the window with the school choir. Come along and get in the festive spirit.


Opening at Biscuit Ceramic Cafe, 3-4 Nelson Road, SE10 9JB at 2pm

Even the good Lord would have had a problem with His great miracles to perform without a bowl, plate or mug. Basic, beautiful and made by you at Biscuit








Opening at 15 Nelson Road, SE10 9JB at 630pm.

Come along to see how local artist Jonathan Bishop as interpreted this year’s theme. This window uses a digital video loop. It looks like a Christmas fruit machine waiting for the jackpot which never quite comes, a bit like Advent.
