6 December – “And your prayers will be answered” at Biscuit, Biscuit.

7 December – “We Will Guide the Way” at Meridian Primary School, Old Woolwich Road. The window will be opened at 10am.

8 December –  “Star in the Desert” at James Wolfe Primary School, Randall Place. A scene of the kings in the desert, bringing their gifts to the baby Jesus – a bright star in the sky signifying hope for the world. The official opening will be at 3.30pm; and the window is best seen after dark. The upper school concert will be performing a concert at St Alfege Church in the evening.

9 December – “Path of Hope” at St Alfege with Peter’s School, Creek Road. All the work has been done by the school art club. There will be an opening at 4.00 pm where mince pies and mulled wine will be served. This window is best seen after dark.

10 December – “Linking East to West” at 15 Crane Street. The opening will be at 6pm. Coin St a pedestrian thames path linking east to west. Make his paths straight east greenwich/west greenwich. The window will be lit from dusk until 10.30pm.

11 December – “Believe” at 213 Greenwich High Road. The definition of believe is “to accept as true or real “, which seems an apt description of Christmas as well. We believe in the magic and spirit of Christmas.

12 December – “Make Straight the Path” by St Alfege Sunday School, at 17 Point Hill. A display planned and prepared by the children of the Sunday School exploring the challenges of life today and how we all need to follow our star to maintain trust and hope – echoed in the story of the Nativity. The opening will be at 4.00 pm with a lighting up ceremony – with snacks and drinks and Christmas carols. All are welcome. Best seen after dark.

Today’s opening is “Out of The Wilderness” at Belle, 20 College Approach. Mince pies will be served between 10am-8pm, and there will be a 20% discount in store.

Coming out of a barren and inhospitable land towards something new and uplifting –  a vision of growth and the promise of hope.

Today’s opening is titled “Momentous Time That’s Coming” and will be at The Mitre, 291 Greenwich High Road, at 7pm.

Advent has been the time of waiting for something momentous that is coming.

Today’s opening is “Listening to the Voice of Nature” at So Organic, 22 Nelson Street. There will be an opening day party (4-8pm) with Christmas Cake and food, and 10% off products in store and Christmas entertainment provided by the staff.

The window will be Polar Bears in their natural environment.  A reminder about how important it is we look after the world’s natural wilderness by consuming products that have the least detrimental effect of the environment.
