Advent Windows 2015: Keep Me Travelling Along With You
Every year St Alfege Church, at the heart of Greenwich, London, runs an “Advent Windows” event whereby the town centre is brought alive by 24 unique offerings in the lead up to Christmas.
Shops, homes, schools and pubs are using their imagination and artistry to produce the living Advent Calendar. A newly decorated window will be revealed, or “opened”, on each day of Advent (1st to 24th December) in different parts of Greenwich. A variety of media will be used, including paper art, models, flowers and paintings.

Seeing all of the Advent Windows usually takes around 3 hours on foot. You can view a programme of the window locations, or read about the window openings after each event on our blog. A summary of the window openings for the current day can be found under “Today’s Window”.
The windows will stay up until Saturday, 2 January 2016.
We hope you enjoy this Greenwich Christmas tradition.
